Open a Faculty Search

 OR

Open a Non-Faculty Academic Search
(Non-Faculty Academic = Specialist, Professional Researcher, Academic Coordinator, or Academic Administrator)

  1. Complete the Search Initiation request form found here, or call your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
  2. Draft the advertisement or click here for advertisement templates.
  3. Submit both documents to your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
Place Advertisements Please contact your Academic Recruitment Specialist for assistance placing your advertisements.

Review and Manage Applicants in AP Recruit To view your applicant pool, visit https://aprecruit.ucsf.edu/ or log in through MyAccess at https://myaccess.ucsf.edu/ Please visit the Academic Affairs AP Recruit page for instructions on how to use the system, or call your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
Begin the Interview Process For FACULTY recruitments only:
Please contact your Recruitment Specialist before you begin the interview process, to request approval of the applicant pool.

For Non-Faculty Academic recruitments only:
Begin the interview process; applicant pool approval not required.

Close a Search (or slot)
(for searches that were opened  02/01/15 or later)

OR

Extend a Search
(within 18 months of opening)

  1. Complete the Search Close/ Extension form found here, or call your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
  2. Submit the form to your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
Request a Search Waiver
  1. Complete the Search Waiver Request form found here, or call your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
  2. Submit the form to your Academic Recruitment Specialist.
